What you can see and visit…..

Excavated sIte of Abbey Church and Cloister with an
interpretation board explaining what can be seen.
•
St Stephens Gateway Chapel site which was used for
worship be Redditch residents until the early 19th century
before being moved to the town centre,

Fishponds dug by monks to supply fish for their table
•
Site of Medieval water mill. A model and part of the
wooden mill race can be seen in the Visitor Centre
•
The River Arrow which was diverted by the monks to
allow the site to be drained.
•
Viewpoint with interpretation board which gives a view of
the whole site.
•
Bordesley Abbey Visitor Centre which exhibits finds from
the site and tells the story of the Abbey.
